Bwin up showing good results in quarter report

The Austrian online gambling company Bwin is showing a good year. Bwin is one of the most aggressive companies regarding marketing both online and offline. In their offline marketing strategy they have been sponsoring some of the most known football teams all over Europe and on top of that Bwin even decided to market their brand name with sponsoring the Portuguese highest league. Their online strategies are including banners and videos all over online betting sites as well as newspapers all over the internet.
The Sportsbook is one of the reasons for the great growth of Bwin during the last year but it is not just the sportsbook that has been showing growth for the Austrian company. The sportsbook that has had a great year on year growth has gone up from a net game revenue of 9.6 million during the same period last year to a net game revenue of 16.8 million dollars during the third quarter in 2009. The best growth in the Bwin sportsbook came from the live betting section and it shows that customers are leaning more towards ive betting than regular pregame bets.
It was not only the sportsbook that had a great third quarter the smaller games offered by Bwin saw a boom the third quarter and skyrocketed with 36.5 percent. Poker had a small growth for the third quarter and shows an increase of 1.3% as well and the casino had normal growth of 7% creating an end result of 18 million dollars for the third quarter. Bwin has had a big increase in new customers to 1.1 million with more than 285.000 of them active during the last 3 months.
