One of the world’s absolute largest sporting events is about to take place in South Africa during next year. It will finally been time for the 32 best football teams in the world to meet up and establish which nation has been able to create the absolute best team in the world that will go on and win the Fifa World Cup 2010. Even if the world cup doesn’t start until the 11 of June next year it is time for the teams to know who they will meet when they start the road to the world cup in south Africa, its time for the draw.
There have been 204 national teams that has been a part of the qualifications that has been going on since august 2007 and this fall the final 32 teams had emerged as the teams that will have a chance to go all the way and become the world Champions for the oncoming 4 years. The draw will take place in South Africa this Friday and it is expected that over 120 million viewers worldwide will tune in and watch the draw when it happens on TV or on the internet watching one of many live streams available.
The 32 football teams will be divided into 8 groups of 4. In the first stage of the world Cup all of the teams will be playing against each other and 16 teams will go on to play in the first round of the playoff. From there it will be one team going forth to the next round until there is just one team on the top of the podium. It's already possible to place bets on the outcome of the Fifa world cup 2010 in South Africa and the bookmaker’s three favorites to become the winners are Spain, Brazil and England.
