Pokerstars launches a new online team

Pokerstars in not just known as the largest online poker room in the world it is also known for the several live poker tours that they have launched all over the world. The live poker tours include the European Poker tour, the Asian Poker Tour the Latin American poker tour amongst others. To go along with the poker tours Pokerstars has created the world’s largest pro poker team to play for them in the live events. Pokerstars has made sure to sign deals with the best poker players worldwide to represent the poker room.
In addition to the Pokerstars pro team Pokerstars has signed contracts with sports stars to represent the poker room as well as ambassadors for the poker room. Pokerstars have now decided to create a new pro team to represent the poker room. The new team is a group of 23 men and women that is going to represent Pokerstars online as the first online pro team in the poker rooms history. The online team will represent Pokerstars in online tournaments as well as cash games and sit n goes on the site.
Pokerstars received over 2000 applicants to fill in a seat in the poker room’s online pro team and after going through the poker players results at the poker table Pokerstars finally decided to bring on 23 players that all play different levels and different games to make sure that the players on Pokerstars will hall have a chance to play against the team Pokerstars online pro team. The first 23 players is the foundation of a pro team that will grow larger and larger during 2010 and that will attract more players to Pokerstars.
