Shulman the winner of WSOPE main event

The main event for World Series of Poker Europe started out on the 26th of September and 334 players made the buy in of £10,000 and 5 days later one winner emerged from the group with a grand prize of £801,603 which equals to €877,460. The last man standing after a long final table and an exciting heads up match against the Pokerstars Pro and poker superstar Daniel Nagreanu was an American residing in Las Vegas Nevada, Barry Shulman. The Main event winning was Barry Shulmans second WSOP bracelet.

Barry Shulman who is the CEO of Card Player magazine has a rich tournament history with 14 money finishes in the World Series of Poker with two bracelets, one from 2001 for the $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo Split 8 or Better event and now from the Main event in WSOP Europe. The 9 players that made the final table sat down and started playing poker at 12.05 and 17 hours and 22 minutes later Barry Shulman that came in to the final table as the chip leader could stand up and take the applause after making three of a kind in the final hand against Daniel Nagreanu.

2 of the players that will sit down in November to play the WSOP main event final was playing on the final table of the WSOPE and Barry Shulman will be able to hand out information about the two players James Akenhead and Antoine Saout two his son Jaff Shulman who will play against the two in the November Nine finals. James Akenhead and Antoine Saout are the two short stacks on the Main event table and they went out as number 9 and 7 in the Final Table of the World Series of Poker Europe Final table.
