WSOP Main event will be played this weekend

This Saturday it is finally time for the biggest event in poker all year. It is time for the final table to be played in the main event of World Series of Poker 2009 and on Monday there will be a new World Champion of poker. The tournament event started July the third this year and by July 15 there where 9 players left in the tournament that attracted 6494 players to make the buy in of $10000 and play for the title as the world champion of poker. The final nine players also dubbed the November Nine is now about to take their seats to crown the champion.
The Nine players that will take the seat all have different backgrounds coming in to the tournament but all of them will fight to be the last man standing and take home the grand prize of $8 545 435 and the bracelet telling the world that he is the world champion. All of the players have that have made their way to the final table will at the least get $1 263 60 for their efforts. Amongst the players the poker superstar Phil Ivey can be found as well as two players that played the final table in WSOP Europe, James Aikenhead and Antoine Stout.
There are lots of speculations about who will get out on top after this weekend’s poker fight and the pros thinks it will come down to a battle between the poker pros Phil Ivey and Jeff Shulman. Jeff Shulman who is coached by Phil Hellmuth who has won most WSOP bracelets of all times has showed excellent poker skills throughout the year is viewed upon as an up and coming player in the poker world. No one of the pros asked thought that the current chip leader Darvin Moon will come out on top after the tournament is finished.
