Counting cards when playing Black Jack
Sep 1, 2009
Most people that have set there foot in a casino has had the dream of winning big and beating the house when it supposed to be impossible. The most popular game where players would like to succeed is Black Jack since it is a game where the player actually can alter the outcome of a hand by deciding to draw a card or to stay and let the dealer bust. The house has always had and will always have better odds than the player but there is a way for players to switch that around, by counting the cards.
Counting cards is more popular than ever with the movie 21 out and the book bringing down the house selling in millions of copies all over the world. And it is pretty easy to do as well. The first thing a player has to do is to practice on counting cards fast and it is important to know that the more high cards there is in a deck the better it is for the player. So the further a game goes it is possible to have a better possibility to win money on the table. It is nearly as important to know that winning on counting cards is possible in the long run but it is easy to lose much money and win much ini the short run making the game like a rollercoaster.
When Counting the cards all low cards 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 counts as +1 and all high cards 10, Jack, Queen, king and Ace counts as -1, the cards 7, 8 and 9 counts as 0. When the dealer gives out cards the player counts plus and minus for every card that has been dealt by the dealer. When there is a big positive (+) count in the end of the deck it is time to raise the stakes and take advantage of the situation.
Card counting is legal but it is not liked by any casino since that enables the player to win money instead of losing it. Even if it is legal any casino catching a card counter will throw the player out and ban the player from the casino, so even if a player can count cards, the player shouldn’t do it.
When it comes to online Blackjack counting cards doesn’t have anything to do with the game. That is because every hand that will be dealt is shuffled before the cards are dealt on the online table.
